Restaurant Style Pancakes
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon white sugar 1 1/4 cups milk 1 egg 2 teaspoons vanilla 3 tablespoons canola oil Chocolate chips (Optional) Directions: In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg, vanilla, and canola oil; mix until smooth. Fold in chocolate chips if desired. Cook pancakes like you normally would. (Pour about a 1/4 cup of batter into the hot and greased pan, and wait until the edges are dry, and then flip them. lift the edge of the pancake often to check if the bottom is done.
